Yes, Bill McKenna is an important person especially at the college. If we
can get the endorsement of the college, it will reach a lot of young voters
and based on the petition campaign, students tend to support change that
brings better representation.
I wondered if we might want to consider inviting Pat Martin of the Leader
Publication and Bill Phelan from the Journal. They have a lot of ideas and
since we ultimately hope to have their support, I would like to know what
they want to see and don't want to see in a Charter. I have talked to Bill
Phelan at length and I know for a fact that the Journal supports a charter
form of government, and will endorse if they can like the finished product.
