To All,
As stated at tonight's meeting, I believe that former St. Charles County 
Executive Joe Ortwerth would be able to provide excellent insight to the 
Jefferson County Charter Commission.  Mr. Ortwerth posses a great deal of 
knowledge in how the St. Charles County charter finally came to fruition and 
also, as the eventual top-elected official, how effective the charter 
became.

I'm sure he'd be willing to speak to the group.  As I've said, I've heard 
him talk to Jefferson County audiences twice regarding the charter effort; 
he's a strong supporter of what we're trying to accomplish.  He can be 
reached at 636-978-4725.  My preference would be to ask him to speak as soon 
as we can get him scheduled.
