Since the subject of endorsements was discussed in our last meeting I would like to clarify the process that was used to solicit endorsements in the original signature campaign.

Letters went out to organizations asking them to sign a release to be used in posting their names and titles on the website. The letter was very clear that the endorsement was not an endorsement for or against the charter but rather it was an endorsement of their support to see a Charter written. These people signed and dated the letters and returned them to us. They further told us how they wished it to be posted i.e. title on the website.

Individuals signed a similar release requesting the court appoint this commission and once again, they signed it and clarified how they wished to be posted i.e. title.

I will bring the file with all of the signatures on Thursday and anyone is welcome to view the releases and signatures. The names on the endorsement page of the website are all verified with an original signature.
